Bangkok Trip (September 2008)

The journey from airport to our booked hotel is around 40 minutes. This is a small hotel but I like the way of its design for the room. It give me a very comfortable feel. Especially the green wall and the white color bed. This hotel cost 2000 baht (rm200) per night.

Not even take a bath, we straight away go out to look for the tailor shop and dinner. After finish visit the tailor shop at Rose Hotel, Suriwong Road. Too bad it is rain heavily, so we took our dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. The tomyam is fantastic and the mango craft is beautiful. So sorry, can't list the name out because too delicious and not even bother to look for the menu to note down the dishes name. :D

After dinner, the rain finally stop. Opposite of the road there is a night market, called Sala Daeng Night Market. While we walk through the market. There is quite number of pub and tiger show. A lot of sexy pretty "AhGua" dancing there. We walk until end of the market and we took BDS from Sala Daeng station back to our hotel whereby based at Nana BDS Station.

Arrival at Bkk

The flight took us 2 hours 5 minutes. Once we landed, the weather was pretty good. Noticed that the Bkk airport is a newly built airport as part of it are still under renovation. I called back home to tell mum I have reached safely and the first question she asked was, "Ok or nt?? See any riots??". Hehehe....I replied 'No' as I'm still inside the airport. :P As I was walking to the custom for passport control, I saw a giant lollipop....it's bigger than my fist. There's lot of big statues all over the airport. When I reached the custom, I found something funny as visitors need to look at the webcam for photo to be taken... hahaha...

After that, we went to collect our luggages. It's so far away from where the plane dropped us. It's just like walking from one end to the other. *Phew*

Our 1st Trip

Finally the day has come and off we are heading to Bkk. We call for a cab to come and pick us up at 2pm. We arrived ard 2:30pm as the driver is ex-F1 driver and thanks to him we have plenty of time for our lunch before boarding. After lunch the time was just nice as it is about to board. We queue up and we are the first few at the queue but then the annoucement came. "Due to technical problem, the flight AK867 has been delayed for boarding". Oh gosh, not AGAIN?? But both of us have a bit of tummy disorder so we took this delayed time to go to toilet...Then while I was doing my business, I heard the damn flight attendant making annoucement that the flight is now ready for boarding...Hello?? I'm in the middle of doing my business...so i quickly finished up my biz and waited for dear. Wondering whether dear heard the annoucement. I tried to call his mobile but it doesn't went through. Argh !! Luckily he too heard the annoucement and came out quickly. Off we go for boarding. :)

Welcoming Baby Lucas Oh

Today is a very special day where my first nephew was borned and woo hoo..I upgraded to become an aunty. I'm actually in office working when FY called me saying that my elder sister went to hospital earlier and doctor said that the baby is eating its own shit in the womb..OMG what?? Ya...'SIK SI' ar...hahaa...therefore, it would be very dangerous if to continue waiting for the baby to come out naturally. No choice but to do caesarian to take the baby out ASAP.

I was so damn excited so I actually lied that I need to go off for emergency. I rushed back home and FY said sis had gone to Sunway Medical Center with brother in law. My brother in law called around 2pm+ and said that my sis is about to do operation now. About 1hour plus later, my cutie nephew was born. His name is Lucas Oh Li Jye. My brother in law send us a MMS and Lucas is so adorable, so fair skin with rosy cheeks. He opened his eyes and smile when my brother in law carry him in the labour room.

We rushed to the hospital and my mum, FY and myself were so excited that we neglected about my sister in the ward! Four of us including my brother in law are outside the baby room looking at him. Lucas is just sleeping and on and off he cried a bit.
