It's a bit confusing though and I'm still unsure of what is the main difference. The only thing they stressed during orientation was Packet One was a solution pillar while Green Packet is a service and solution pillar. Argh~~ duh. There will be 2 full days of orientation and today's orientation was full of fun playing games. First we introduce ourselves based on the template hahaha...funny hor..like we need to tell our name, current role in the company, one word to describe yourself, what makes you join GP/P1 and also what are your strength that you could bring to the company. After that there are some speech and introduction given by the General Manager of Sales and also the COO then followed by representatives from different departments. </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">The fun part of the caterpillar games where each team (teams formed accordingly to the table seats) where we need to put a balloon in between of two person and no hands can touch on the balloons. We need to form a connected line in between each team member then collect the "food" which is coloured paper that the speaker thrown on the floor. Our team required to collect the pink "food". Not long after that, our team a.k.a team 2 needs to combine with team 4 then the 4 teams to combine together. It was a long long caterpillar. HAHAHAHA...</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">The second game was to get everyone standing in a circle then start asking questions. This is to boost up our ability to ask questions. When the someone asked you a question, you don't need to answer it but instead ask someone else another question. You're not allowed to ask the person the same question. No hesitation is allowed. This is is super fun and exciting. Some questions such as "Are you crazy?", "What's your mum's name?", "Do you think she's hot?", "You wanna go out together?", "Am I pretty?" and etc are some of those questions which burst out numerous laughter. </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">End of tomorrow's orientation, each team will need to present a performance for 5 minutes on the values that we have picked today. We picked "RELIABLE" and our play was about reliable durex where with durex, 100% no sperms are able to get in touch with the eggs. LOLX. Hope it's gonna be fun.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br />

We went to TBM @ Old Klang Road and after a long explanation from the sales person, we decided to buy Plasma TV instead of the new LED TV. LCD was not recommended as LED is replacing LCD and soon to be phased off. We bought a Panasonic 50" Plasma TV and I couldn't believe that hubby would decide on the spot and to my even bigger surprise at the size of the TV. Lolz! But I'm so so excited and happy with my super BIG TV. TBM has very good and efficient service. Just few 3 hours after my purchase, the staffs came to install my TV at no cost. Happy!!! I asked hubby when only buy today, izzit because he afraid that I wouldn't look for a job if he bought me this TV earlier (psst..I'm going to start my new work tomorrow). LOLZ</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br />

Though after my DIY medication, it reduces the swelling and also reddish spots but spots are still there. Thus I wanted to let my beautician to have a look at my skin. She examined my skin and said as at now, she can't do extraction, facial and anything with my face. She could only help me to do a cooling mask to cool off those sensitivity in my skin. She gave me a mask and also a cream to apply on my mask and she said it will work in 1 use or most 2 use. I kinda shocked me, I mean takkan so easy meh?? Whatever it is, I tried using it as instructed by her and this morning I woke up, to my surprise the bintik bintik really all gone. No more spots at all. WAH WAH WAH!!! Tak percaya kan?? But it's real and I even asked hubby to check it out. *happy*happy* I think I'm gonna apply it again tonight then my skin should be back to normal again. Then next week, can go to do facial as normal already. Yahoo!! In case, anyone of you are interested in which facial centre I went to, I can shared you my beautician address. </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: center;"><br />

We went to D'Rich at Kuchai Lama for my favourite Ipoh Kuey Teow soup with chicken. Nothing special about it though but I just like the soy taste of the chicken! Lolx. After breakfast, hubby fetched me home and said will be back around 2pm then will bring me to shopping. Hehehe...he must have know I would be mad cos he's working on a Saturday thus cepat cepat tell me that will bring me to shopping after meeting. ♥♥☺♥♥</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br />

They have a total of 6 flavours but I didn't buy all of them as some of it are coffee flavour which not many of them in the family adore coffee. </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br />

</span></div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">It took me roughly 2.5 to 3 hours for the whole process. As I'm doing both upper and lower, the Empro staff said they are gonna do the lower part first. Again, same process as removing the eye brow, to apply aesthetic for 15-20 minutes then the eye lid embroidery can start anytime. The sound of the machine they used was so loud and scary! The girl who did my embroidery suggested me to put on my headphones if any and maximise the volume of my MP3. So I tried and it kinda worked. It is not so painful as what I heard from other girls who did it before but it's much of a ticklish feel. After my 3 hours of embroidery, this is how I looked like. My face is so black because of the eye liner colour they embroidered on my eye lid. The colour kinda "jumps" all over my face. Dunno how to describe it ler.. </span></div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;"><br />
</span></div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">The girl mentioned that eye lid embroidery also the same as eye brow embroidery, can't wet the areas for 3 days as afraid that colour may fade off easily. But as the incredible - and disturbing - photos below show, some parents think nothing of popping their loved one in the microwave or giving them a Hitler doll to play with. Guaranteed to give social workers nightmares, the images are taken from new website ParentFails.com, which aims to chronicle 'all the funny moments when parenting goes horribly, and hilariously, wrong'.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br />

</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">One worryingly common theme sees babies snapped in the place of food: whether nestling in an enormous sandwich or providing the centrepiece to a traditional Indian meal. And babies are also shown getting up close and personal with the family pets - even when that pet is an enormous snake. The photos evoke memories of celebrity parenting blunders, like Britney Spears driving with her son on her lap, or Michael Jackson dangling his daughter over a hotel balcony. But these parents probably see the funny side: photos are submitted by the public, and most were probably sent in by the parents themselves. Whether the children will find it quite so amusing when they stumble across old photo albums in years to come is another matter.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br />

Critics have branded the recommendations from the CentreForum ‘ridiculous’ and another example of ‘nanny state meddling’. They come just days after Coalition ‘poverty tsar’ Frank Field made explosive claims about the tragic effect of poor parenting. The Labour MP revealed that many children begin school without knowing their first name because their parents barely speak to them. </span></div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">The report from the liberal think-tank calls for a national campaign to boost parenting skills. Each day, parents should be encouraged to read to their youngsters for 15 minutes and talk to them for 20 minutes while the television is turned off. They should also praise their children frequently, play with them on the floor for ten minutes and provide a nutritious dietIt should be ‘socially acceptable’ for parents to ask for help and learn how to improve, but this would require a shift in attitudes similar to those seen in relation to wearing seatbelts and drink-driving, the report states. </span><br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><img src="http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/08/04/article-2022181-0D4946C500000578-921_468x191.jpg" /></span> <br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;">Report author Chris Paterson said: ‘The scientific evidence shows that what parents do with their children is crucial in terms of the way the brain – and skills – develop. ‘There’s also evidence of significant gaps in information and behaviour between different parents as to what activities they should be doing and how often they are doing them. ‘One of the key ideas of a campaign would be to move towards it becoming socially acceptable to see parenting as something that’s learnt. People don’t pick it up automatically. Why would they?’</span> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">Parents hoping to adopt must study child development as it is not assumed they will ‘automatically’ know what to do. Mr Paterson said: ‘In any other walk of life it’s accepted you have to learn things. There’s a bit of a block when it comes to having your own child as it is assumed you’d automatically know what to do. The evidence points to the fact that this is not the case.’ A greater number of fragmented families has compounded the problem because parents are less able to draw on the advice and skills of experienced extended family members. The think-tank report also suggests creating an additional child benefit supplement for the poorest 20 per cent of the population who attend parenting classes, to encourage take-up. But Tory MP Philip Davies said: ‘It’s ridiculous. Anyone would think we have money to burn in this country. It’s another well-meaning, but ill-thought-out, hare-brained scheme.’ And Nick Seaton, of the Campaign for Real Education, said: ‘It’s another example of nanny state meddling. While a few parents may need this sort of advice, the vast majority manage perfectly well on their own.’</span></div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br />

So we went there when Lucas is taking his afternoon nap. She ended up didn't buy anything as she just received a call from Eugene saying that he fell off from his bicycle ride this morning. He had some bruises on his face, neck and hand and the worst thing is he sounded as if he's having sore throat. His voice totally changed and he also went for an X-Ray which FY and I thinks that it's quite serious! But luckily the X-Ray screening says that it's ok. I think it somehow worried FY and sis also text FY saying that Lucas was looking for small yiyi thus we went home after an hour in Bangsar.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br />

I love the Little Twin Stars iPhone 4 cover so so so much! It's so cute!!! I'm also loving the duckie cover as it's a 3D cover. Woohoo!!! The home button sticker cost RM10 for one pack while I bought for RM5 each sticker at Sungei Wang but apparently the one I got from Sungei Wang is much more comfy to press on as it's thicker compared to the one hubby bought from HK. As for the Paul Frank sticker, those from HK looks nicer as it's not senget. :P Those I saw in Sungei Wang semua senget senget wan ler..</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br />

After my first visit the front of the eye brow has faded off very quickly and I'm hoping this second time, it could fade off even more. As usual, first step to shave off the eye brows completely then apply aesthetics for 15-20 minutes then laser for 5-10 minutes. It's a pretty simple and short process. I personally felt that it doesn't hurt as much as doing the eye brow tattoo. Lol, I'm pretty weird! This is how I looked after the 2nd laser.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br />

The application has an update yesterday and I just got mine updated! the sea on the most corner left of your smurf village has waves tide now. Other than that, there are also new fruits and vegetables for plantation but it requires you to purchase the Fruity Fun Crop Pack and Summer Salad Crop Pack which cost 20 smurfberries and 4000 coins respectively. The new fruits include grapes, pineappples, radish and lettuce. I've bought the Fruity Fun Crop Pack and am planting grapes and pineapples now. ☺☺☺<br />

My first reaction was, oh my, another trip again? This year alone, mum went to Turkey then to Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai on coming September and now another trip to India is in her plan??!! I printed the itinerary out for mum then I said to her "Wow, you almost travel to the whole world!". She laughed and said "I'll bring you there, they said it's fun". </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">On they other side, I think it's great for mum to travel while she can still walk without worries. After all, she had been raising her 4 kids up, taking care of the house making sure her kids and husband are fine, cook for all of us and etc, she should enjoy all she could now! Hope you enjoy your life mum!</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4122168554960913497.post-40327018064407497872011-07-30T15:59:00.003+08:002011-08-04T20:47:00.280+08:00Sharing on Fashion Tips<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Lately there are few friends of mine who asked me the same questions when they met me. The question doesn't just pop up when they saw me but instead in between of conversation and it kinda puzzled me cos it's like out of sudden why is the question out of topic? The question is "<i>Where did you buy your clothes from</i>?" and if I answered it's from online, then the next question would be "<i>Which online shop</i>?". Thus I'll recommend a list of few online shops which I buy from but the thing is I browse through hundreds of online shops and out of the hundred, you might only find 1-2 pieces from each shop or you may also find you're interested in every item they posted! Since there are so much out there, I would just recommend some which I think might suit your preference. So, in future I think maybe I'll try to snap a photo of my own fashion and mentioned where did I get those stuffs from.</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4122168554960913497.post-46621688230595342752011-07-30T13:11:00.001+08:002011-08-04T20:47:26.685+08:00AKB48 - Aimi Eguchi<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Have anyone of you heard of AKB48? The below definition was found in <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AKB48">wikipedia</a>.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br />
<blockquote><span style="font-size: x-small;"><i>AKB48 is a Japanese female idol group produced by Yasushi Akimoto.<br />
<br />
The group has achieved enormous popularity in Japan. Its eight latest consecutive singles topped the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart. "Beginner" and "Heavy Rotation" placed, respectively, 1st and 2nd in the list of Japan's best selling singles for the year 2010, while "Everyday, Kachūsha" and "Sakura no Ki ni Narō" lead the 2011 rankings so far.<br />
<br />
AKB48 is named after Akihabara (Akiba for short), the area in Tokyo where, on the 8th floor of a Don Quijote store, the band's own theater is located. Akimoto's idea, later advertised as "idols you can meet", was to create a theater-based idol group whose fans could see the girls live daily. AKB48 still performs at the theater every day,[6] although, due to great demand, tickets are now distributed only via a lottery.<br />
<br />
AKB48 holds the Guinness World Record for being the world's "largest pop group".Currently, it consists of four teams: Team A, Team K, and Team B with 16 members each and Team 4 with 12 members, summing up to a total of 60 members as of July 24, 2011. Additionally, there are a number of aspiring members, who are called "kenkyūsei" ("trainees"). Each team produces a new own concert show each theatrical season.<br />
<br />
Since 2005, when AKB48 was founded, Yasushi Akimoto created several more groups: SKE48, based at a theater in the Sakae area of Nagoya, SDN48, which is intended to have a more mature image, and NMB48.</i></span></blockquote><br />
And I remembered I saw one post from my friend earlier in FB stating that one of the members in the band was actually computer generated! I can't believe what I read and I wondered how those creative Japanese could do that. After watching the <a href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/japan/8595769/How-fake-popstar-Aimi-Eguchi-was-brought-to-life.html">video</a> you will then realized that almost everything is possible. Perhaps we should follow Adidas motto "Impossible Is Nothing"!</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4122168554960913497.post-10153872809245272112011-07-29T15:28:00.006+08:002011-08-04T20:47:39.879+08:00Don't Steal The Hotel Towel<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">The days of hotel guests helping themselves to towels and robes when they check out could be a thing of the past as high tech gets in to the linen. One company has come up with a way of adding miniature tags in the expensive materials which were costing hotel managements a fortune to constantly replace. It has long been assumed, wrongly in most cases, that the smart towelling robes and plush fluffy towels were fair game for guests looking to save some cash at home. </span></div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 1.2em;"><br />

The RFID technology - which stands for radio frequency identification and requires an installed chip that can be read by an electronic reader - has been used by various industries for several years to organise product storage and tally shipments. </span></div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"> </span></div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">Now hotels are using the tech to monitor the whereabouts of bathrobes, bed sheets, duvet covers, bathmats, pool towels and banquet linens. </span></div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">Up to 20 per cent of hotels' stock typically go missing, estimates William Serbin of Linen Tracking Technology. The company, which sells trackable linens, has teamed with Fluensee, an inventory tracking technology firm, to market the RFID tags to hotels. A towel with a chip is about a dollar more than other towels, he says. Bendable and washable, the tags can be read by sensors up to six feet away. When towels are removed from a closet, for example, a reader station can register how many, so that the closet can be restocked. </span></div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br />

</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> <i>First published in 1992 - the relationship book Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus was an instant international bestseller. Based on the idea that men and women live on completely different 'planets' when it comes to relationships, it has been translated into more than 40 languages.</i> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><i>Now author John Gray has published a long-awaited sequel. Called Why Mars And Venus Collide, it is designed to help improve relationships by understanding how men and women cope differently with today's stressful lifestyle.</i></div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><i>So, if you're too tired for sex, feel the woman in your life does nothing but nag, feel you're 'doing it all' with little help from your partner, or are frustrated because your husband doesn't listen - read on.</i></div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><div id="ArtContentImgBodyC" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; width: 470px;"><img alt="John Gray Venus and Mars" border="1" height="272" src="http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2008/01_05/astro3001_468x272.jpg" width="468" /></div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><h3 style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">LIFE... AND OTHER STRESSES</h3><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">In the past 50 years, life has become so much more complicated. And in spite of the new technologies designed to connect us, much of our communication has been reduced to the equivalent of text messaging.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">We are stretched to the limit, with little energy for our personal lives. Despite increased independence and opportunities for success at work, we are often left with a sense of isolation and exhaustion at home.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Many people believe they are just too busy or too exhausted to resolve their relationship issues, and often think their partners are either too demanding or just too different to understand.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">While some couples experience increasing tension, others have just given up, sweeping their emotional needs under the carpet. They may get along, but the passion is gone.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Our greatest challenge is to acknowledge that men and women cope with stress differently, and that the kinds of support we require to relieve that stress differ radically.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">What helps men release relationship-damaging stress can be the opposite of what helps women feel better. For example, while he needs to switch off and withdraw into his "cave" to forget the problems of his day, she wants to interact and discuss things at length.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><div id="ArtContentImgBodyR" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; width: 230px;"><img alt="" border="1" height="877" src="http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2008/01_05/stepsGPX3001_228x877.jpg" width="228" /></div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">But by remembering that men are from Mars and women are from Venus, we can overcome this tendency to collide, and instead come together in mutually supportive ways.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Our relationships can be a safe haven in which we can expect support, comfort, and ease.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><h3 style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">IT'S ALL IN THE HORMONES</h3><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">The delicate hormonal chemical reactions within the body and brain can quickly become amplified under stress - playing havoc with the way we behave in our most intimate relationships.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Being aware of our innate biochemical differences, however, frees us from the unhealthy compulsion to blame our partners, and can eventually lead us to celebrate our differences.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Here's how it works: At the start of a relationship, a man will get excited and motivated by the challenge of winning a woman's affection. The challenge automatically stimulates the production of testosterone, the "male" hormone that contributes to a man's sense of power and well-being.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">As relationship routine sets in, and the challenge in the relationship decreases, however, his testosterone levels naturally decrease. When this happens, the honeymoon is over, and a man starts to look elsewhere to stimulate higher levels of testosterone to make himself feel good.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">His workplace will almost always provide new challenges to capture his interest and raise his testosterone levels. Similarly, when a woman gets to know her partner and feels safe with him, there is an increase in the production of oxytocin, known as the "cuddle" hormone. A woman experiences more energy, happiness, flexibility and attraction for her partner when her oxytocin levels rise.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Over time, as reality sets in and her expectations are not always satisfied, she no longer assumes that all her needs will be met. The resulting decrease in hope, trust, and optimism will affect her oxytocin levels.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">His detachment and her increased attention to their lack of connection will inevitably build tension in the relationship. If men can learn how to boost their testosterone levels and women their oxytocin through their behaviour, and understand each other's need to do so - their relationship will vastly improve.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><h3 style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">HOW TO BRING OUT HIS INNER ROMEO</h3><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Normal levels of testosterone are linked to feelings of success in men (depressed men have low levels of testosterone). Therefore, to feel good in a relationship, a man needs to feel successful at fulfilling the needs of his partner.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Her responses of trust and appreciation not only nourish his soul, but also counteract the effect of stress by stimulating a healthy level of testosterone.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Failure, or the anticipation of failure, in making his partner happy has the opposite effect - creating stress for a man and lowering his testosterone levels. Confidence increases testosterone, and doing things that stimulate testosterone will increase a man's confidence. It goes both ways.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Appreciating and accepting what he does, or forgiving him for what he neglects to do, is the most supportive way a woman can treat a man - and one of the easiest ways to get the best out of him.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><h3 style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">MAKE SURE SHE'S A WOMAN IN LOVE</h3><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Where women are concerned, oxytocin - known as a social attachment hormone - is vital for a healthy, happy relationship. Though men and women have, on average, similar levels of oxytocin in their bloodstreams, women have more oestrogen, which boosts its effectiveness. Researchers have discovered that oxytocin lowers stress in women, but does not have the same effect in men.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">It is produced in great quantity during childbirth and lactation, and during orgasm in both sexes. In women, oxytocin levels can rise during a massage and fall in response to feeling ignored or abandoned.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">The hormone affects social recognition and bonding as well as the formation of trust between people. Oxytocin stimulates maternal behaviour in women as well as sexual arousal.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">It reduces blood pressure, stress symptoms and fear. Studies have shown that animals and people with high levels of oxytocin are calmer, less anxious and more social.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Levels increase when women connect with someone through friendship, sharing, caring and nurturing, and decrease when a woman misses someone or experiences a loss or break-up, or feels alone, ignored, rejected, unsupported and insignificant.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">A woman in love has high levels of oxytocin. She is consumed by thoughts of giving freely of herself and sharing more time with her partner.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">To feel good in a relationship, a woman needs to trust that her partner cares for her as much as she cares for him. This kind of support directly affects her oxytocin levels, which in turn will lower her stress.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><div id="ArtContentImgBodyC" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; width: 470px;"><a href="http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2008/01_05/venus3001_600x805.jpg" target="you_popup"><img alt="" border="1" height="629" src="http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2008/01_05/venus3001_468x629.jpg" width="468" /></a> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><h3 style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR OWN HAPPINESS</h3><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">When a woman's oxytocin levels are low, it is only natural for her to seek out the support she needs at home to relieve the stress it creates.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">The problem with this is that these days women often expect their partners to provide all of that support. This is a relatively new phenomena - brought about by our insular lifestyles and the increased amount of everyday stress we face.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">For thousands of years, women did not rely on men to generate most of the oxytocin support they needed. They counted on the help of women in their community for their feelgood factor, while their husbands went hunting, or later earned a living.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Historically, men have only ever provided a small percent of the feelgood support that women need. The man's chief role has, until recently, been that of provider and protector. Although men still hold that role, it is not as significant because women can provide for and protect themselves.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Unfortunately, despite this change in relationships, a man can still fulfil only the same small portion of the support women need to cope with the stresses they face.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Imagine a woman's need for oxytocin to be a well that needs to be filled - no matter how hard he tries, a man will only ever be able to fill about 10 per cent of that feelgood 'oxytocin well'. Filling the rest of the well has to be her responsibility.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">When a woman's oxytocin well is already almost full - she's feeling happy and pretty good about herself - a man is naturally highly motivated to bring her to the top and make her feel great.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">On the other hand, if her well is almost empty - she's feeling tired, stressed and bad about herself - and he provides his 10 per cent, her oxytocin levels will still be quite low and it will feel to both that he has not made much of a difference.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">By taking 90 per cent of the responsibility for their own happiness and expecting only 10 per cent from men, women can set up themselves and their partners for much greater success in the relationship. Remembering this 90/10 metaphor can help you create much more realistic expectations for yourself and your partner.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><h3 style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">DIY FEELGOOD BOOSTERS FOR HER</h3><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Your oxytocin will increase if you adjust your lifestyle so you have more time to do things that are rewarding, fulfilling, comforting and involve connecting with others beside your partner. Here are some random suggestions:</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">1. Get your hair or nails done.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">2. Buy a glossy magazine and treat yourself to an hour in a café.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">6. Learn to play golf, tennis or ride with friends.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">7. Go to an exercise class or go for a long, brisk walk.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">8. Talk to a friend you've been meaning to catch up with on the phone.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">9. Buy fresh-cut flowers for your home.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">10. Go to a farmers' market.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">11. Take time to browse in a bookstore with no agenda.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">12. Participate in a Parent Teacher Association meeting.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">13. Visit an art gallery.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">14. Attend a lecture or talk on a subject you're interested in.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">15. Prepare and freeze some meals for when you don't feel like cooking.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><h3 style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">LET HIM HAVE 'CAVE TIME'</h3><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">When it comes to dealing with stress - women like to talk - while men need space to be alone, what I like to call 'cave time'. There is good reason for this.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">In all men, the testosterone levels that keep him feeling happy fall steadily during the course of the day, so when the stress of his working day is over, his body must relax to restore itself.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">A man can elevate his 'feel good' testosterone level by taking a nap or doing simple, entertaining activities such as watching TV or reading a newspaper Just as women need more time to talk and share, a man needs more time to recover from his stresses by having plenty of space to do things on his own, or at least to be in control of what he does.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Often, women think their partners are lazy, when in fact they have a biological imperative to rest. It is hard for a woman to imagine her partner's need, because a man's need to rebuild testosterone levels is so much greater than hers.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">And most women are looking to lessen stress by connecting with their partners, not pulling away. Yet women can also use some alone time to take a breath and finally be free from the daily pressures.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">While taking a break - and allowing her partner some cave time - a woman should do something that helps to boost her 'feel good' oxytocin levels and enables her to relax.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Just as testosterone stimulates stress reduction in men, the hormone oxytocin stimulates stress reduction in women.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"> </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><b><br />

Well, sad to say, out of sudden my whole face and whole face and neck is full of spots, those white spots (looks like pimples but without heads) dunno what it is called. It is so so so damn disgusting! WTF!!! Pimples on face are still ok but I can't accept them being on the neck. I personally think it's gross and yes I have to use this word. Then I recalled back, I just changed to a new face serum on Wednesday and those spots appeared on the same day! It MUST have been that serum. I'm totally freaked out and I don't even wanna look at the mirror. I felt myself look 10 years older. ARGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so lost and tried contacting my beautician but she's at Korea so I tried sending her a text but she's not replying. Helpless! </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">The next day came and out of desperation, I need to think of a way (don't ask why I'm not going to doctor instead cos I don't know either). I decided to wash my hands with dettol (to kill all the germs) then wash my hands with water. Not gonna put anything on my ugly face but my face got a bit dried up after the washing. So I use toner to tone my face, after all toner contains alcohol right, it can kill germs too, right? Then I applied these 3 capsules of chinese medicine which the whole family has been taking if we are feeling unwell. It can be described as "sin dan", miracle capsule, once you taken the medicine, you'll feel so much better then next day! So I took out those powder from the capsules and mixed it with water then applied all over my face. Leave it for about 30 minutes and rinse it off. Then I applied toner again then put Lamer cream over my face thinking Lamer might help too! But after applying, I looked at the mirror and noticed that my face is a little too oily so I decided to rinse it off with water only. Then later in the night I noticed those spots has reduced dramatically and I'm damn damn happy about it. I thought of applying the mask again but after a second thought, better not to overdo it. Better apply it tomorrow. So, if you face any problems similar to mine, perhaps you could try the same way as I did. Though I'm unsure of what the miracle capsule was but I guess any chinese medicine which can detox could probably do the trick! </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">P/S: Attached herewith are my DIY remedy for curing my spots. I'm sorry but I don't have the photos of my face and neck cos it's too gross!</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br />

</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">9 Deadly Words Used By A Woman</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">1) Fine</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">2) Five Minutes</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">3) Nothing</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">4) Go Ahead</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">This is a dare, not permission. Don’t Do It!</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">5) Loud Sigh</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">6) That’s Okay</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That’s okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">7) Thanks</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you’re welcome. (I want to add in a clause here – This is true, unless she says ‘Thanks a lot’ – that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say ‘you’re welcome’ . that will bring on a ‘whatever’).</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">8 ) Whatever</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Is a woman’s way of saying F– YOU!</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">9) Don’t worry about it, I got it</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking ‘What’s wrong?’ For the woman’s response refer to #3. </div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4122168554960913497.post-51031625650741296892011-07-27T14:17:00.004+08:002011-08-04T20:49:34.607+08:00Much Awaited Trip Bangkok Trip 2011<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTAyYM4n3FYL65z-ScQ8HSOu5fu2j0OZp9Meq47n8t0B9BFyWiY8m3RHuN1n5RA5rM4vPhaWcpCEqzKLPodKsSZRfWmlvgIAzLlwQxfcNiAwk4-dhG5Lz_aSEhYcDWjChl0E3ZbW97T8YA/s1600/tantrums.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><br />
</a></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The very much trip which I have been looking forward too ends with a sad ending. It must have been the dragon fruit I ate yesterday!!! Well, I'm suppose to be at Bangkok now but yesterday after my dragon fruit, I've been visiting the toilet for several times and hmm please allow me to describe how does my poo looks like! It looks exactly like bolognese and when I explained this to FY she eventually asked me to STOP cos she loves eating bolognese. Well sorry but it's true that it looks something like that. LOL. My tummy is not in a good mood but I still go and take shower after waking up at 4:15AM, get dressed and put on pale make up but I don't really feel good. The tummy keeps on having cramping feelings and at the very last minute, I text Shiau Mei letting her know not to fetch me as I can't make it. *Sob*Sob*.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">This is kinda a pathetic trip cos it started with 8 person going but then hubby bought another ticket to Macau not realising it's clashing dates, so 1 knocked down. About 2-3 months ago, as mentioned by Pik Yan herself, she said "Mount KL conquered her after she conquered Mount KK". She got 3 months MC for that and there goes the 2nd person unable to make it for the trip and the last one would be me which is a last minute notice! I've researched and planned the itinerary nicely but to my dismay, I'm not joining them! Sad sad! And the saddest thing would be my shopping spree!! Let me cry!! *Sob*Sob* Maybe because it's purely my own fault thus I didn't throw any tantrums at hubby. <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTAyYM4n3FYL65z-ScQ8HSOu5fu2j0OZp9Meq47n8t0B9BFyWiY8m3RHuN1n5RA5rM4vPhaWcpCEqzKLPodKsSZRfWmlvgIAzLlwQxfcNiAwk4-dhG5Lz_aSEhYcDWjChl0E3ZbW97T8YA/s1600/tantrums.jpg" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTAyYM4n3FYL65z-ScQ8HSOu5fu2j0OZp9Meq47n8t0B9BFyWiY8m3RHuN1n5RA5rM4vPhaWcpCEqzKLPodKsSZRfWmlvgIAzLlwQxfcNiAwk4-dhG5Lz_aSEhYcDWjChl0E3ZbW97T8YA/s1600/tantrums.jpg" /></a>Hahaha cos somehow when something happened, I tend to throw tantrums at him dunno why. Yeah, I'm not a good wifey right? :P</div><div style="text-align: justify;">But one thing I'm very happy about this lost is that hubby said will bring me along to Macau but I rejected cos it's so pricey at this last minute air tickets. Though hubby said it's ok but I think it's not worth it right?? After all, it's just Bangkok that I have missed out, can still go anytime I wish! To compensate that, FY said I got to go Bangsar for shopping spree and yes other than Bangsar, I'm gonna very hardworking in searching hi and low for nice outfits from blogspot and also shops in Bangsar, Sg Wang, Zara, Topshop and etc.... Till then, see ya next time Bangkok!</div></div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">P/S: FY said I'm destined to go and fetch her from airport when she's back on this coming Saturday! WTF!!</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4122168554960913497.post-42552432649088923772011-07-25T22:23:00.007+08:002011-08-04T20:49:48.040+08:00Gathering with Theen & Pui Hoong<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">So long Pui Hoong comes back once a year then for sure we're gonna have gathering once a year with these 2 primary school friends of mine. Time really flies and we have been knowing each other for 23 years! 2 years down the road, I hope that we could do a celebration for knowing each other for a quarter of century. Loving this idea. Well as usual, we met up in MV this time but when I come to think about it, most of the time we're meeting up at MV. Haha but this time we meet up on a weekday for lunch since Theen and myself are not working at the moment. It's great catching up with the girls and hell boy, we can really chat non stop for 4 hours plus. If it's not because Pui Hoong need to went off for dinner with her family, I guess we'll ended up having dinner as well. We chatted almost everything which includes our life updates, friend's updates and all sorts of updates and to our excitement, Pui Hoong told you something which is seriously interesting but yet to confirm about the authenticity of the story! Pui Hoong, you need to find it out and let us know asap and the gossip nerves of mine won't be able to stand for so long!! </div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Thanks girls for the meet up session. Loving and missing it at the same time. Till our next meet up, ♥♥ xoxo<code></code><code></code></div><div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br />
